New fan story and photos , from Ross Park Mall (3/26)

This was submitted in April, shortly after the playoffs started so it is one of the backdated stories I will be posting this off season! As you may have noticed, Maddie is a great contributer to KrisLetang.org and fan! She has met Kris many times and has shared that experience with the fan site – a gesture that I appreciate very much! Thank you !

Here is Maddie’s story:

My friend and I arrived at the mall about 2 hours before the signing was supposed to start. We got a spot in line and we got my mom to hold our spot so that we could go to the food court to eat. About 10 minutes after we got our food Kris Letang walked into the food court! I started freaking out because I was so shocked, I just didn’t even know how to react! He walked past us and I tried to play it cool but I accidentally ended up spilling my drink all over the table! Kris walked around trying to figure out where he wanted to eat and finally decided to get a sub. My friend and I decided to move to a different table because the drink I had spilled was everywhere. Then after we sat down at the new table Kris walked over and sat one table away from us! I kept talking to my friend about maybe asking him for a picture or just going up to him to talk to him but I decided to just leave him alone because I felt bad and I knew I would be meeting him again later anyway. But I guess he must have heard me freaking out because when I went up to him to meet him at the signing at first he said the usual “hi how are you” but then he said “good. I see you decided to wait to get a picture” and I said “oh my gosh when I saw you I didn’t know how to react I wanted to talk to you but I didn’t want to bother you!” then he laughed and said it was fine and he leaned in for a picture. It was another awesome night and Kris was really nice as usual.
