Sharks win Game 5, 4-2 against the Penguins – Series is 3-2; next game on Sunday

The Stanley Cup was in the building but was not hoisted Thursday night by the Penguins. The Sharks came out strong, scoring 2 goals early in the first, with the Penguins answering with 2 goals later in that period, tying the game. The Sharks took the lead late in the 1st and then scored again in the 3rd, insuring their win against the Penguins.  Kris Letang had a good game with one point from the assist on the 1st period power play goal from Geno. He had 2 shots, 4 hits, and 1 blocked shot – lead team in ice time with 29: 08.

The Penguins will get another chance at winning the Stanley Cup at the next game in San Jose on Sunday at 8 PM EST, check sidebar for channel listings.
