Kris Letang and teammates visit students “Future Goals Hockey Scholar Program” !
Yesterday, Kris and his teammates, along with Iceburgh visited the fifth and sixth graders of Mars Area Centennial School. The surprise visit was for the “Future Goals Hockey Scholar Program”. The program helps students learn about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) concepts with the sport of hockey as a guide through simulations on tablets and computers.

Letang was pretty bewildered by the advancements in education and technology.
“Back in my day we used pen and paper,” Letang said with a laugh. “We didn’t use hockey to learn math. I wish we had.” (Source)
