Here’s the weekend post with photos and media from training camp and the intra-squad scrimmage on Saturday! Sunday’s Phase 3 day of training camp included the usual drills and line changes and pairings. There was a focus by the coaching staff. to prepare for any scenario that could arise during the Return to Play period. “We were kind of prepared for a little bit of everything,” Recchi said. “We had a plan for whether we were going to go two separate sessions or just with our 14 forwards and eight defensemen, so it really didn’t change a whole lot. – The Penguins still did some special teams work, starting with a top unit of Kris Letang, Justin Schultz, Evgeni Malkin, Jake Guentzel and Jared McCann.
