Jody’s pictures with Kris!

Pens’ fan Jody, met Kris at the Ross Park Mall signing last week and shared a few photos from the event. One is a great photo of her and Kris (congrats Jody on meeting him!).

I just wanted to share some of my photos from the 03.26.12 signing at Ross Park Mall.  Kris was very kind and gracious, and I was so happy to meet him!  I arrived at 6:00 PM for what I thought was to be a signing starting at 6:30.  When I arrived, I found out from the Steel City Collectibles staff that Kris had arrived and began signing already!  To me as a fan, that really speaks to his personal character.

By the time I finally made it to my signing with Kris, it was around 7:45.  I think he had probably already signed about 300-400 autographs by then and posed for just as many photos.  Judging from the amount of people in line behind me, he had to have been there until at least the 8:30 mark, if not later.

When I got in front of Kris, I managed to utter complete sentences, which was an accomplishment, as I was quite nervous.  I told him that it was very nice to meet him, and he replied that it was nice to meet me, too.  While he was signing I continued that I was glad he was okay after that rough game on Sunday, and that I loved watching his end of game ‘windmill high fives’ with Fleury.

I love the big autograph on my jersey, and the photo I got with Kris.  I have attached it, along with two others I took when I first arrived at the Mall.

Thanks for your efforts with this site!  I would not have known about the signing without the website!
