What we have below is a series of six exercises to make the fit hockey player even stronger. PJ Stock is the host. Chaimberg is the fitness guru and Kris Letang of the Pittsburgh Penguins is the athlete.

Core Strength:
This is a drill that players use to help them move into a shot with strength. You wouldn’t want to do this against your basement wall.

Sled Push:
Some of the most effective drills are actually quite simple, this is one of those.

Quick Feet:
You hear the phrase a lot in hockey, whether you are talking about a novice or someone in the NHL. To survive this drill you really do need quick feet.

Pull Up:
There are all sorts of ways to develop upper body strength and this drill has been used throughout the years, but Kris Letang takes it to new levels.

Lateral balance:
A big part of the game is to fight through battles and to make your way through players who are bigger and maybe stronger. This drill helps.

Jump Drill:
Generating speed in a hurry. It’s a big help when you are playing with guys like Crosby and Malkin. Here’s Kris Letang and the jump drill
