Tanger, Sutter, and Neal to start off this post…I think it’s very fitting !
Training camp has begun! The NHL season is almost upon us, but it’s not just any season, it’s a full season (hey, remember that lockout last year?)! Just when we think we’re enjoying the best of Pens’ hockey, come February there’s this little known event called the Winter Olympics (2014 in Sochi!) I’m super excited to bring you all the latest news and media for this season here at KrisLetang.org! So lets get started with the recap of today’s opening of training camp:

“We lose in the conference finals and we do not win a game in the conference finals. We’re not going to shy away from that and looking at ways where we came up short and what we need to do better as a team and add to our team. That’s not something we’re looking to do come April 20 when playoffs come around. We have to build that now into our team. That starts tomorrow (Thursday) when we get on the ice. We’ve certainly been affected by it, looked at it, tried to have a reason why we couldn’t get a goal or a power-play goal and what happened in that particular instance to our power play that was good for every other situation throughout the year and try to learn from that and apply it. And again, that starts not come playoff time, but it starts right now in training camp and into the season.” – Coach Bylsma
