Kris Letang and the Penguins fall to the Capitals in overtime for Game 1

Kris Letang and the Penguins fought the Capitals all the way to one overtime but couldn’t hold them, losing 4-3 in overtime. The Penguins did out shoot the Capitals 45 to 35. Kris had a great game getting 1 point from an assist on the 2nd period Evgeni Malkin goal. He had 4 shots and 7 hits (Most on the team), and 3 blocked shots. He lead the whole field in ice time with 34:02.
