Kris Letang gets an assist and point in the Penguins first win of the season against the Ottawa Senators
What an exciting game for the Penguins and a shutout for Fleury! The Pens held the Senators for all 3 periods, with Kris getting an assist and a point. He also lead the team in total ice time with 28:06 and had 1 shot and 2 hits. The 2 Pens goals were scored by Daniel Sprong and Evgeni Malkin (Kris had an assist on that one!) Fleury blocked 22 shots and Ottawa’s Anderson blocked 36 (Pens were putting pressure on the net!) This is a great win and will help the Pens build moment for the next game: Toronto Maples Leafs this Saturday, the 17th in Pittsburgh. Game time is 7 PM.
